Cuyahoga Jones' dirty picture of the week: Close-up photograph of the G-spot
This photograph, taken by the Hubble Space Telescope, depicts the G-Spot on Jupiter, July 18, 1994. When Periodic Comet Shoemaker-Levy 9 broke up in the months preceding its collision with Jupiter's southern hemisphere, the G-Fragment was one of the largest pieces. The crater-like impact zone is about the size of the Earth. It is actually flat, and represents planetary "dirt" thrown up from the deeper layers of Jupiter's cloud-deck.
